Ashes & Steel Studio Celebrates Grand Opening in Asheville’s River Arts District

Asheville, NC (January 24, 2019) -- Master stylists Gary Topple and Alejandro Jimenez launched their new state-of-the-art salon, Ashes & Steel Studio, with a “City Lights” Celebration event. Over 120 guests attended the opening and enjoyed live music by DJ Dimitri, dancing, hors d’oeuvres and raffles.

In keeping with the evening’s “City Lights” theme, guests sipped Cosmopolitans and Manhattans. Local beer from Highland Brewing Company was also served along with a fine selection of gourmet food from cheese and charcuterie boards to beef and chicken skewers and tasty appetizers. Cupcakes with the salon’s A and S logo were the evening’s fashionable dessert, and British chocolate coins were scattered throughout the salon.

Models wearing Ashes & Steel Studio shirts delighted guests as they displayed their hairstyles by owners Gary and Alejandro. A red carpet coupled with a step-and-repeat backdrop offered a popular selfie haven. The highlight of the evening took place when red balloons were dropped from the ceiling, cascading to the floor.

“We are thrilled to be a member of the exciting River Arts District community,” notes Gary. “Everyone truly enjoyed our special opening celebration with the city lights flavor of New York.”
